So- now it comes out...

The church fires in Alabama were set as a joke.

Really?! A joke?

The only thing I see as funny is that these morons will spend the next 20 - 40 years in prison for telling a bad joke.

Things that make me go "HUH"?: #2 - The cloudy issue

We have an entire system designed to keep one person from harming another (The justice system).

We have an entire army of professionals just waiting for someone to do something even remotely harmful to you so that they can swoop into action (lawyers).

We even have more laws than we know what to do with to keep you from hurting yourself.

YET- when someone inevitably causes you harm through the form of second-hand smoke - you need to just suck it up... literally.

HUH?

Things that make me go "HUH"?: #1 - The Baby-type Thing

As long as that thing in a woman's belly is wanted... it's a baby. In fact, if you happen kill the mother who wants that thing in her belly - you'll be charged with a double homicide.

HOWEVER - Any time the woman doesn't want what's in her belly, it's a fetus. And- then she herself can feel free to kill it without any repercussion.

HUH?

Ever Just Wonder?

OK... so I know I'm no Kelly Clarkson or Fantasia, but I can't help but wonder...

If I was so many number of years younger (I will not let you know specifically how many years),would Simon have told me "You are one of the worst singers I've ever heard." Or, might Randy have said "Dawg! I totally felt you." Would I have made it to Hollywood?

I know this is embarassing to admit, but everytime I watch American Idol, I sing-a-long and secretly wonder if I would have had a shot.

Anyone else willing to admit the same?
